HEAVY RENOVATION — PFAFFENTHAL, LUXEMBOURG
A house spanning three periods (around 1700, the 19th century and the mid-20th century), in a protected area within the UNESCO World Heritage buffer zone. Basement and façades rebuilt; the conservatory replaced by an orangery in hand-cut insulating masonry, laid like dressed stone. Budget of around €600,000 (construction cost, excluding fees and VAT).

Demolition of a single-family house and construction of a five-apartment building, budget of around €1.5 million. TRIBE Architects’ mission: amended building permit and project management through to handover.
